Amomaxia:  Often described as a gateway-activity that often leads to dogging, amomaxia is not related to dogging.  The difference between dogging and Amomaxia is that amomaxia does not encourage putting on a show or encouraging other “doggers” to join in.  The word amomaxia is often associated with fetishes.

Dogging:  Dogging actually derives from the term ‘walking the dog’. It is a pastime that has evolved from blokes taking their dogs for walks and stumbling across couples at it in bushes etc. They originally only spied on these couples.

Ducking:  Ducking is identical to dogging apart from the fact it takes place on a water vessel. Often the pikers (watchers) are on shore creating a more relaxed and open stage for the dogger. In recent years ducking has become increasingly popular, though its participants (usually drunk college girls) are unaware of the act in which they are participating in.  Ducking is British in origin and is not considered popular slank outside the UK.

Piking:  The act in which someone gains sexual gratification from furtively watching dogging.  The ratio of pikers (watchers) to doggers (showers) is usually 3 to 1 depending on the location and time of the show. This ratio can vary anywhere from 0 to 1 (nobodys watching) up to numbers that exceed 20 to 1. Large groups are very uncommon because of the amount of unwanted attention that it brings to the dogger.  A common piking location is in a bush or tree. It is not uncommon for a piker to have a favorite or group of favorite piking spots. Piking is a common practice wordwide but usage of the verb is limited strictly to the UK. Individual dialects vary by region.

Toothing:  Derived from dogging, toothing is the use of a blue tooth enabled device (PDA or mobile phone) to arrange casual sex encounters with strangers.
