Dogging Shopping List

Going dogging requires some preparation. Here are some of our picks for the most important things to bring along:

Condoms, condoms, condoms

Obviously, if you’re going to play safe, you need condoms. Especially if you’re going to let others join in the fun, it’s an absolute must to have plenty of condoms at-the-ready. You can’t count on people bringing their own. You may want to bring a variety of types and sizes so people can choose the condom most comfortable for them. After all, no telling who will show up, and you need to be ready for anything.

You should also bring some latex surgeon’s gloves. If there’s going to be any internal, or even external, touching involved, latex gloves will protect both parties. Dental dams (some people substitute plastic wrap) offer protection during oral play.

Lube It Up

Plenty of lube is essential to keep your dogging session going like a well-oiled machine. You probably already know that  you should use water-based lubes like Astroglide and KY-Jelly, as oil-based lubes can degrade latex condoms. However, you may not realize that lube is available, not just in tubes, but also in single-use packets. Just hand out a little lube packet when you give out the condom, a perfect pair.

Now I Lay Me Down

It may seem exciting to have sex on the ground, on a picnic table, or on the hood of your car. However, you’ll have a quick bit of harsh reality once you realize just how uncomfortable that can be. Rock on the floor, the hard metal of a car, or splinters on a picnic table can ruin a dogging session. So, come prepared. Bring a blanket to lie on, a pillow to rest your head, and anything else you think you might need for comfort. We’ve heard of some dogging enthusiasts who even bring their own air mattress to the fun. A little thought to physical comfort will go a long way to making it a fun experience.

See What’s Going On

You should have at least one flashlight at the ready, along with extra batteries, before the fun begins. In terms of safety and simple efficiency, you need to be able to see what’s going on, especially if it’s a dark or secluded area.

Clean Up Time

Dogging can be a very messy activity. To keep things clean and sanitary, you should have plenty of baby wipes, paper towels, and tissues close at hand. Encourage your newfound friends to wipe before the fun starts, you can even give them a little Purel-style sanitizing gel to disinfect their hands.

Environmentally Friendly

When your dogging session is done, make sure to leave the location as clean as when you found it. Bring plastic bags, and throw away EVERYTHING, condoms, condom wrappers, baby wipes, etc. Your flashlight will come in handy here too. It’s your responsibility to the dogging community to do this; dogging should be fun for those involved and not a burden on others. Either dispose of the plastic bag in a proper receptacle at the dogging location or take it home and throw it out there.

Hi, my name is lacy.  I came across dogging while surfing on the internet one day; I like to go to the yahoo directory and just search to see what I can find.  I’ve read a lot of the information and a lot of the articles and being the adventurous type decided I would give dogging a try.  I have a husband, but figured this would be more fun without him, besides, what he didn’t know can’t hurt him, right.

So it’s about 11:30 on a nice sunny Tuesday, I figured that if I am going to do this I should have some sort of proof.  My first stop was the Best Buy where I bought a digital video camera; you can buy a basic model for about $99 here in the US.  Then I headed over to Macy’s and picked up a nice black dress slipped it on and disposed of my panties.  At this point I had all the supplies that I needed, the only thing left to do was to do it.  I went to a park on the opposite side of the city I live in, just outside of the suburbs.  I didn’t want to go anywhere close to my house in case someone recognized me.  I walked around for about a half hour looking for a good spot and a good partner.  I had no idea if this was a dogging spot or not, and I had no idea how to tell if someone was a dogger or not.

So I just decided to take a chance, how many guys would tell a woman no if she decided to walk up them and beg them to fuck her right here and right now.  Of coarse it didn’t even require me to do any begging whatsoever.  Before I even got about ten feet from my man target he turned to me with the biggest grin you ever saw.  I handed him my camera and knew exactly what to do.  It was fun, adrenaline pumping, heart racing kind of fun.  Afterwards, he handed me back my camera, and we both turned and walked away.  Not a single word was spoken through the entire thing, it was nice.

A young couple decides to film themselves while having sex in the woods.  It’s a nice, georgous day and the couple enjoy eachothers company in the woods for about 3 minutes.  After having sex , they sit down next to a tree to rest when they realize that they were being watched the entire time.

Principles of Outdoor Ethics:

Don’t forget to respect your surrounding so you don’t get caught and so you can go dogging again and again.

·         Plan ahead and prepare

    • Schedule your trip to avoid times of high use.
    • Visit in small groups. Split larger parties into groups of 4-6.

  ·         Travel and camp on durable surfaces

    • Durable surfaces include established trails and campsites, rock, gravel, dry grasses or snow.
    • Good dogging sites are found, not made. Altering a site is not necessary.
    • In popular areas:
      • Concentrate use on existing trails and campsites.
      • Walk single file in the middle of the trail, even when wet or muddy.
      • Keep campsites small. Focus activity in areas where vegetation is absent.
    • In pristine areas:
      • Disperse use to prevent the creation of campsites and trails.

·         Dispose of Waste Properly

    • Pack it in, pack it out.
    • Deposit solid human waste in catholes dug 6 to 8 inches deep at least 200 feet from water, camp, and trails. Cover and disguise the cathole when finished.

·         Leave What You Find

    • Preserve the past: examine, but do not touch, cultural or historic structures and artifacts.
    • Leave rocks, plants and other natural objects as you find them.
    • Do not build structures, furniture, or dig trenches.

  •
    • Keep fires small. Only use sticks from the ground that can be broken by hand.

o        Burn all wood and coals to ash, put out campfires completely, then scatter cool ashes.

·         Respect Wildlife

·         Be Considerate of Other Visitors

    • Respect other visitors and protect the quality of their experience.
    • Let nature’s sounds prevail. Avoid loud voices and noises.

The number one enemy of dogging is mosquitos and other bugs - there is nothing worse than smacking a moquito off your cock when your in full motion.  The number one asked question that people have after dogging is:  How do you keep the bugs away?  Our friends at ILovetheOutdoors.com have put together a list of ways to help you be bug free:

Mosquitoes, black flies and other pesty insects can be very annoying as they swarm and bite causing much itching and discomfort. There is no one solution that works all the time but here are a few tips to help keep the bugs away.

Practical advice for doggers:

  • Avoid using fragrant or scented personal products.
  • Wear light colored long sleeve shirts and pants.
  • Wear a hat and a bandana on your head and neck.
  • Keep cool - bugs are attracted to sweat.

Lotions and bug sprays that are dogging approved:  Don’t use traditional bug repellent because most contain DEET as the active ingredient against bugs. Use this sparingly. This chemical may be harmful and should not be used on children.

  • Sunscreen/insect repellant - this may have a lower concentration of DEET.
  • Avon Skin So Soft - tests don’t prove this but many insist that it works.
  • Citronella candles and oil - helps keep mosquitoes out of the area.
  • Head Nets - keeps bugs away from your head and face.

Foods that will help keep bugs away while dogging:

  • Garlic - it will secrete through your pours.
  • Zinc or Vitamin B - also secretes through your pours.
  • Citrus - deters the bugs.
  • Coconut soap and coconut oil - repels mosquitoes.
