Dogging is the broad term used to cover all the sexual outdoor activities that go on. So this means everything from watching someone else have sex outside to putting on a show with your significant other in plain view of anyone who wants to watch is called “dogging”. Most commonly dogging refers to having sex at a carpark (Rest Stops) or in the woods.
Dogging also refers to the excuse that most men give thier wife when they leave for the evening to participate in a dogging event -

The voyeurs are mainly men and the exhibitionists are mainly couples or women who love to attract attention and often invite people to join in.
